Winemaking in the Rasteau region of the Rhône Valley dates back to 30 BC, rendering its viticultural history one of the oldest in the world. Given the appellation's dry, arid climate and diverse soils, ideal for cultivating grapes, it's no wonder that this ancient land has been producing wine for centuries. This blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre yields characteristic black-red fruit flavors of plum and blackberry, along with savory notes of olive and cured meat. Enjoy this brooding red with boldly flavored meats like lamb.
