Imagine you entered a biker bar and everyone was drinking white wine and nibbling on cucumber and goat cheese sandwiches. This would be the wine because of the tough-guy label – but the juice also matches the exterior (hence the bikers' choice in edibles). While many California Sauvignon Blancs fall short on refreshing crispness, this wine has it in spades, not to mention a full range of fruit flavors. Why? Because we blended this wine ourselves in our undying search for a big, bold Sauvignon Blanc with a bright beam of acidity. This will change your perception of California Sav Blanc and give any of the New Zealand ones you've had a run for their money.

Tasting Notes

Citrus and light gooseberry aromas jump from the glass and intensify as the wine is exposed to air. Bright, mouth-filling acidity plays on the palate. You can't find a better-tasting, more versatile Sauvignon Blanc at this price point, especially one that pairs this perfectly with Dungeness crab, Sunday brunch, crisp salads, hors d'oeuvres or even chicken cordon bleu.
