2012 Mythmaker Monterey Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes

This Pinot packs an immediate aromatic punch of sweet wild cherry, raspberry and cranberry, with an intriguing hint of cedar. On the palate smoked cherry preserves and wild red berry notes are kissed with hints of spice and crushed herbs. Beyond the youthful fruit you'll find notes of sage and mineral-rich acidity that hold the wine in perfect balance. Dusty tannins synchronize with the vibrant fruit, making for a serious sipper that can stand up to a range of cuisines. Enjoy this in its youth, but the wine will age gracefully for another decade.
