2010 Fortuna Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes

Believe it or not, this smells like bacon buried in a bowl of warm cherries. And it tastes pretty much just like it smells, then moves into more dark, brambly fruit notes, with an intriguing, earthy, spicy, tobacco thread running through it. A warm backbone of soft tannins brings a nice balance and food-friendliness, but really this is a wine to just kick back with and enjoy.
