When asked about a box of chocolates, you might think immediately of Forrest Gump. This tasting selection is designed to open your eyes to the joys of a selection of truffles: While you know what you're going to get, these fine chocolates will still surprise you when their creamy chocolate deliciousness and exotic flavors hit your lips.

Jalapeño fudge truffle? Strawberry chocolate bonbon? Each tasting box in this collection is designed to open your eyes wide to the flavorful world of artisanal chocolate.

Michel Cluizel is one of the world's few cacaoféviers, meaning this chocolatier crafts chocolates from cocoa beans themselves. Tucked away in Normany, France, Cluizel commands quality from bean to bonbon. A family-owned and run business since 1948, Michel Cluizel has become a name celebrating the finest in chocolate. Each truffle is a tour de cocoa force, and simply sublime.

John Kelly Chocolates, a chic Hollywood native, is taking the chocolate world by storm with handcrafted haute chocolate. This small box has a big kick with its jalapeño and habanero influence. And with the selection of Kenzi chocolates, an incredible newcomer on the truffle scene, you've got pouches of cocoa-dusted indulgences to pop at every chocolate-craving moment.

These little pleasures will brighten your day. Stow a box of truffles into your purse or pocket, and you've got a treat for the dragging hours of the afternoon. Bring out a box or two at a dinner party, and your guests will enjoy the mignardises with their coffee. No matter what the occasion – even a bite of chocolate after hours in bed! – these little boxes are bound to please. And once you've savored the last, drive you crazy as you crave more.

Tasting Notes
Michel Cluizel's truffles are a work of art, inside and out. Beautifully adorned shells conceal a lighter, almost honeyed crème inside, buttery and pure chocolate in fine form. The Kenzi truffles are even more buttery, practically melting in my fingers and on my tongue before I bite despite their dusting of cocoa powder. The strawberry truffle tastes as if strawberry shortcake was infused in a chocolate truffle. Although they're dark chocolate, the Kenzi's are decidedly sweeter than Cluizel's. The John Kelly jalapeño fudge bites take the cake. Peppery fudge enrobed in a dark chocolate shell has a powerful kick, along with salt for balance and a markedly fudgy texture.

What You Should Know:
Storage: Chocolate is shipped with cool packs to prevent melting. On arrival, keep at room temperature. Enjoy by suggested consumption date on each package.
